July Message from Your UGLR Board President, Kathy Harwood Long

Dear Colleagues,

The “Unity of Today” includes our regions across the planet, each offering on-the-ground support.  The GLR initiatives for 2026 are on track for increasing our services each month. Our recent survey results will soon be available and the board and I look forward to all the input.

The June UC&L Town Hall was informative in many respects. If you couldn’t get in, watch it for sure. Here is the link. https://www.unity.org/en/static/unity-reimagined-town-hall-meetings.

At my recent Regional Advisory Council Meeting I learned that SEE credits are soon to be accepted for those applying for minister credentialing. This is good news.  These classes can be taught in the field; do contact UC&L to report what you are teaching so they can promote it.

Also, smaller ministries plagued by too few serving on the board, not enough energy or dollars to attract a leader, watch the Case Study presented in the Town Hall.  There are specific ways any ministry can be in good standing.

Calling all Youth Directors–you can register to be in the Circle portal–please do.  Increasing support and services are being created with your involvement.

Friends, please start praying with me, aligning with the Divine Will for all to thrive and flourish.  Is it time for us as a region to support “home grown leadership” with funding? Are we ready to begin “crowd funding” new ministries in 2027?  We are working closely together this year with funds and services to advance our work.  What’s next as we evolve Unity worldwide?

With love, Kathy

PS–see you at conference!
