Hosted by Unity Spiritual Center Westlake
23855 Detroit Rd, Westlake, OH 44145
About This Training: Join us for a training designed for Youth and Family Ministry volunteers looking to grow their knowledge and skills in supporting the youth and families in their community.
This training is facilitated by Cassidy Meeks, YFM Coordinator for the Region. Cassidy brings 15+ years of experience working with Unity kids of all ages — from her early days volunteering, to serving as a YFM Director, to her current role as YFM Coordinator for the Region. Her background in Learning & Development, combined with her facilitation skills, will help you walk away with actionable tools to support youth and families, delivered in a fun and experiential format.
What You'll Learn
This training will focus on three key areas:
Sacred Safety
Facilitating Multi-Age Groups
Fostering Inclusion & Belonging in Community
Dinner and childcare will be provided by Westlake. A love offering will be collected to help cover the cost of food and the space — you're welcome to give via the registration form (credit card) or onsite (cash or check).
