October 2026 Message from Your LUT Representative
Hello, friends! Welcome to the SPOOKY month! This is a time for fun frights and, at the same time, renewal and recommitment.
The regional conference LUT Luncheon this September brought us a presentation by Rev. Diane Venzera, who shared her vision of the future with us and encouraged us all to share our talents with each other and take advantage of the Portal LUT group to ask for and offer help to each other. Thank you, Rev. Diane, for sharing your expertise with us!
I just returned refreshed and recommitted from an LUT conference at Unity Village, Glow UP! What a great way to spend time with new and old friends from across the country. Again, many thanks to Rev. Diane Venzera, who led us in exercises to create and manifest the future of LUTs in the Unity movement. With inspiring guest speakers like Rev, Kathy Beasly, Alexandra Scott, and Martha Creek, we rose up and committed to creating a vision of LUTs across the country sharing their strengths and helping each other with growing edges. Look for good things to come!
Speaking of good things to come, look for a notice of our next quarterly LUT meeting. We’re planning a session on Sunday, Nov. 29, 7:30 – 9:00 EST, with LUT Paula Land. Paula is on the board of the Great Lakes Region and also serves on the team with Rev. Diane Venzera at UWH. She’ll be doing a demonstration of our newest pan-organizational communication tool, the Circle Portal, and explaining how this can be a quick and effective way to stay in touch with other LUTs, get help when needed, and share expertise. Join us for this exciting session!
